REITWorld 2016: NAREIT’s Annual Convention for All Things REIT continues on Nov. 16.
Programming for day two of the convention at the JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa includes a morning session on real estate sustainability. Moderator Fulya Kocak, NAREIT vice president for environmental, social and governance issues, will be joined by Rick Avery, vice president for sustainability with Welltower Inc. (NYSE: HCN); Jeffrey Bedell, vice president for sustainability with Macerich (NYSE: MAC); Daniel Egan, vice president for sustainability and utilities with Vornado Realty Trust (NYSE: VNO); Sara Neff, senior vice president for sustainability with Kilroy Realty Corp. (NYSE: KRC); and David Rinard, senior director for global sustainability and strategic sourcing with Equinix, Inc. (NASDAQ: EQIX).
A luncheon will feature political commentary from noted Democratic strategist James Carville and conservative talk show host Hugh Hewitt, host of The Hugh Hewitt Show and contributor for NBC News and MSNBC.
