Brixmor Property Group Inc. (NYSE: BRX) said James Taylor Jr., the company's CEO and president, has returned from his medical leave of absence and reassumed his duties. Brian Finnegan, who has served as interim president and CEO, will continue in his position as senior executive vice president and COO.
DiamondRock Hospitality Co. (NYSE: DRH) announced the promotion of Stephen Spierto to chief accounting officer. Spierto joined the company in November 2023 and previously served as vice president, corporate controller.
Kilroy Realty Corp. (NYSE: KRC) welcomed Daryl Carter to its board of directors. Carter is the founder, chairman, and CEO of California-based investment firm Avanath Capital Management, LLC. “As a real estate investment powerhouse, focused on affordable and workforce communities, Carter will be an esteemed addition to the board,” Kilroy said. The REIT also thanked former CEO John Kilroy for his 11 years of service as chairman of the board. Going forward, Edward Brennan will assume the role of chairman.
Prologis (NYSE: PLD) announced Ed Nekritz and Colleen McKeown will retire as chief legal officer and chief human resources officer, effective Jan. 1, 2025. Current Deputy General Counsel Deborah Briones and Senior Vice President of Human Resources Nathaalie Carey will succeed Nekritz and McKeown. Nekritz and McKeown will continue to serve as senior advisors to the company in 2025. These changes are part of the company's long-term and ongoing succession planning.
Sila Realty Trust, Inc. named Chris Flouhouse as executive vice president and chief investment officer, overseeing the acquisition, investment management, property management, and research and credit divisions of the company. Flouhouse previously served as head of real estate, gaming and lodging equity capital markets at Wells Fargo.
