Cafaro Appears at White House Forum

Ventas, Inc. (NYSE: VTR) Chairman and CEO Debra Cafaro joined business leaders in Washington on April 19 to participate in The White House Forum on Increasing Access to Justice.

Cafaro’s remarks focused on the need of seniors and veterans for legal services to enable them to access their benefits and health care services.

Speakers at the event included Vice President Joe Biden and Attorney General Loretta Lynch.

Other panelists joining Cafaro at the event included Kenneth Frazier, chairman and CEO of pharmaceutical manufacturer Merck & Co.; Martha Minow, dean of the Harvard Law School; and David Rubenstein, co-founder and co-CEO private equity firm The Carlyle Group.
