The deadline to apply for Nareit’s 2020 Diversity & Inclusion Recognition Awards is Friday, Aug. 28, 2020. These annual awards honor both Nareit member companies and individual members who have demonstrated a strong commitment and made outstanding contributions to the advancement of diversity and inclusion (D&I) within their companies as well as in the REIT community.

Nareit’s Diversity & Inclusion Corporate Recognition Awards
All Nareit corporate members are eligible. Nominated companies should have demonstrated a strong commitment to the advancement of diversity and inclusion. Any staff member of the company may submit the application. Judging will be done by ESG experts who work outside the REIT community and will not see the names of the applicants. Applicants must complete the online form by Aug. 28.
Nareit’s Diversity & Inclusion Individual Recognition Awards
All Nareit individual members and employees of Nareit corporate member companies are eligible to be nominated. Judging will be done by ESG experts who work outside the REIT community and will not see the names of the applicants. To encourage a broad applicant pool as well as serious self-reflection, applicants must self-nominate for the award. No letters of recommendation are required. Applicants must submit the online form by Aug. 28.
