Digital Realty Trust Joining S&P 500

The S&P 500 will add NAREIT Corporate Member Digital Realty Trust (NYSE: DLR) after the close of trading on May 17.

The San Francisco-based company will raise the total number of REITs in the index to 27.

Digital Realty is replacing Time Warner Cable Inc. following its acquisition by Charter Communications Inc.
