Housing Partnership Equity Trust (HPET), a social-purpose REIT that works to acquire and preserve affordable and sustainable rental housing, has been included on a publicly available database of experienced impact investment firms.
ImpactAssets 50 (IA 50) is an annually updated list that allows investors and their financial advisors to identify experienced impact investment firms and explore potential investment options. Firms are selected to demonstrate a wide range of impact investing activities across geographies, sectors, and asset classes, according to ImpactAssets, a nonprofit financial services firm.
Anne McCulloch, president and CEO of HPET, said “it is a privilege to be among the diverse group recognized and we look forward to continuing our work as well as supporting others who are committed to making a positive impact in their respective fields.”
The IA 50 database notes that 100% of HPET’s total assets under management are impact investments.
