For more than 25 years, Crystal & Company has been the approved program administrator for Nareit’s and its members’ proprietary Directors & Officers Liability insurance program, which is underwritten by Arch. Last week, Nareit was made aware that Crystal & Company has entered into an agreement to be acquired by Alliant Insurance Services. Alliant is one of the leading specialty insurance brokerage firms in the U.S. and has more than 3,200 employees in more than 100 offices around the country.
This transaction has no bearing on Nareit’s D&O program, the professionals that administer it at Crystal & Company, or the comprehensive coverage offered through the program. Nareit will continue to monitor this development, and should there be any additional information that is pertinent to Nareit’s membership, Nareit will share it with you.
