The past 18-plus months have solidified the importance of clear, values-driven employee, tenant and other stakeholder communications. Nareit has heard from many communications practitioners within the industry that the external and internal communications functions within REITs continue to evolve and expand.
In response to this environment, Nareit has formed its first Communications Council to bring together the REIT industry’s corporate and brand communications leaders from Nareit’s corporate member companies for networking and discussions on emerging trends, channels and opportunities to advance the REIT industry message.
The Council’s members are made up of professionals who direct or lead communications, public relations, and/or media relations at a Nareit corporate member REITs.
The first Council meeting will take place Nov. 9, 2021 at this year’s virtual REITworld. The meeting will be led by:
