Nareit has been invited to speak on the REIT approach to real estate investment during the March 27-31 Florida Public Pension Trustees Association’s (FPPTA) annual Wall Street Program in New York.
While real estate investment has been included in the curriculum in the past, this year represents the first time in the history of the program that REITs have been featured in a standalone presentation on the asset class.
Now in its 18th year, the Wall Street Program is among the premier educational events for trustees of Florida’s public pension plans. Attendance at the program is restricted each year to a limited number of trustees only, and those that have achieved the designation of Certified Public Pension Trustee from the FPPTA.
There are expected to be more than 40 trustees, representing 30 of Florida’s public pension systems, attending this year’s event who will participate in interactive classes focused exclusively on investments.
