Nareit’s Calvin Schnure, senior vice president of research and economic analysis, penned an op-ed in Morning Consult on how the housing crisis more than a decade ago has led to a shortage of housing today. The article, titled “ The Long Tail of the Housing Crisis,” discusses that although millions of Americans are feeling a housing crunch, today’s situation looks like the market of a decade ago has been turned on its head.
