Nareit has decided to conduct its REITworld: 2021 Annual Conference virtually on Nov. 9-11, rather than in person at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas, NV, as previously announced.
Nareit’s leadership made this decision in consideration of the health and safety of the REIT community as well as in recognition of the most effective and efficient manner to conduct the event, given the essential nature of REITworld and the various limitations in place because of COVID-19.
One-on-one meetings, general sessions, and networking events will be held via secure video calls in a virtual conference environment. In the virtual format, the conference will be free to attend.
Attendees will still be able to effectively connect with investors, REIT management teams, and industry leaders, just as they would in person. Check back to the REITworld event page for any updates to the schedule.
Those who registered for the in-person conference will receive a full refund and do not need take any additional steps to initiate this process. The refund and cancellation notice will be sent via email. Current registrants will be automatically re-registered for the virtual conference, and will receive a new confirmation email and confirmation number.
