Nareit’s Sustainability Council Holds Summer Meeting

The Real Estate Sustainability Council (RESC), which consists of REIT sustainability professionals representing most sectors, met last week to share best practices and compare notes on various topics, including green power procurement, ESG reporting efforts including participation in SASB, and TCFD guidelines. Nareit staff provided updates on latest efforts, including its Dividends Through Diversity and Inclusion Initiative, ESG related policy updates, and investor outreach on ESG issues.
