REITs in the Community: Gallagher visits Simon Property Group

February 20, 2018 – Rep. Michael Gallagher (R-WI), left, visited the Bay Park Square Mall in Green Bay, WI, and was hosted by Simon Property Group’s (NYSE: SPG) Tracy Vassallo, the mall’s manager. Rep. Gallagher, who is serves on the House Homeland Security Committee, was updated on Simon Property Group’s recent activities at Bay Park as well as in other locations in WI and throughout the country. He was briefed on several legislative issues now pending before Congress that impact REITs and the publicly traded real estate industry, including the Marketplace Fairness Act.
