November 23, 2015 - Rep. Vicky Hartzler (R-MO), center, visited American Campus Communities' (NYSE: ACC) The Cottages of Columbia on the campus of the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. Hartzler toured the property with William Talbot, chief investment officer, and General Manager Ashley Rayfield, and also visited the site of the University Club at Turner that ACC is currently developing and is scheduled to open in the fall of 2017. Hartlzer, who is currently serving her third term in Congress and is a member of the House Armed Services and Budget Committees, was briefed on ACC’s other developments in Missouri and updated on several current issues impacting REITs and the student housing industry.
