REITs in the Community: Rep. Jeffries Visits REIT Executives in New York

Oct. 21, 2019 - Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), the Chairman of the House Democratic Caucus, visited the headquarters of Boston Properties (NYSE: BXP) in Manhattan and met with executives from Boston Properties, Columbia Property Trust (NYSE: CXP), SL Green Realty (NYSE: SLG), and The Community Development Trust. Chairman Jeffries was updated on the current state of the REIT industry as well as each companies presence in New York City and across the country. Rep. Jeffries also discussed his outlook on the legislative agenda of the 116th Congress.
