REITWorld 2015: NAREIT’s Annual Convention for All Things REIT continues Nov. 18 at the Wynn Las Vegas.
Day two features two panels. In the morning, Mike Grupe, NAREIT's executive vice president for research and investor outreach, will lead a discussion of the role of REITs in the retirement market. Joining Grupe for the presentation will be Meredith Despins, NAREIT vice president for investment affairs and investor education; Abigail McCarthy, NAREIT vice president for investment affairs and investor education; and Kurt Walten, NAREIT senior vice president for investment affairs and investor education.
In the afternoon, GRESB CEO Nils Kok will oversee a panel on sustainability in REIT investments. Kok will be joined on the panel by Hans Op ’t Veld, head of listed real estate, PGGM; Eliott Trencher, research analyst, Cohen & Steers Capital Management; David Stanford, executive managing director, RealFoundations; and Bradford Stoesser, managing director and global industry analyst, Wellington Management Company.
