This annual survey provides insight into what REITs are doing with respect to the Social Responsibility component of ESG, including DEI policies regarding recruitment, retention, promotion, training and health, wellness and safety of employees, as well as community outreach and supply chain management.
As part of Nareit’s ESG-related undertakings on behalf of the REIT and publicly traded real estate community, Nareit, in association with FPL Associates, surveyed its corporate members in 2020 to determine how the REIT community creates, discloses, implements, and measures policies associated with social responsibility.
