Alexander & Baldwin (NYSEMKT: ALEX) announced the resignation of James Mead, executive vice president and CFO, effective Nov. 15. The company also said that Francisco Gutierrez has been named senior vice president, development. Gutierrez most recently served as senior director of development at GGP.
Cousins Properties Inc. (NYSE: CUZ) named Colin Connolly as CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2019. Larry Gellerstedt, the current chairman and CEO, will transition to executive chairman. In July 2017 Connolly was named president, a title he will retain in addition to his role as CEO.
CyrusOne Inc. (NASDAQ: CONE) appointed Mark Skomal as senior vice president and chief accounting officer.
Charles Meyers was named president and CEO of Equinix, Inc. (NASDAQ: EQIX). He succeeds Peter Van Camp, who served as interim CEO since January 2018. Van Camp resumed his role as executive chairman. Meyers joined Equinix in 2010 as president, Americas. In 2013 he was appointed COO, and for the past year he has served as president of Strategy, Services and Innovation (SSI).
Equity Residential (NYSE: EQR) said President and CEO David Neithercut will retire on Dec. 31. Mark Parrell, who currently serves as executive vice president and CFO, has been appointed president and will succeed Neithercut as CEO at year-end. Neithercut has served as president and CEO since 2006. He will remain a member of the board following his retirement. In 2015, Neithercut served as Nareit chair.
Greer Aviv joined Iron Mountain Inc. (NYSE: IRM) as senior vice president, investor relations. She replaces Melissa Marsden, who retired after six years with the company and more than 35 years in the investor relations field. Aviv most recently served as vice president of investor relations and corporate communications for CoreSite Realty Corp. (NYSE: COR).
PREIT (NYSE: PEI) said Jonathen Bell, senior vice president and chief accounting officer, left the company. In addition to his continuing role as CFO, Robert McCadden assumed Bell’s responsibilities as principal accounting officer.
PS Business Parks, Inc. (NYSE: PSB) named Jeffrey Hedges as executive vice president, CFO, and secretary, and announced the promotion of Trenton Groves to senior vice president, chief accounting officer, and assistant secretary. Hedges joins PS Business Parks from Invitation Homes (NYSE: INVH).
Urban Edge Properties (NYSE: UE) appointed Chris Weilminster as COO and Don Briggs as president of development, both effective on or before Dec. 31, 2018. Robert Minutoli, who currently serves as COO, plans to retire at year-end. Weilminster and Briggs both join Urban Edge from Federal Realty Investment Trust (NYSE: FRT), where they held senior leadership roles.
Welltower Inc. (NYSE: WELL) promoted Shankh Mitra to executive vice president and CIO from his previous position as senior vice president, investments. Tim McHugh was promoted to senior vice president, corporate finance, from his previous position as vice president, finance and investments. Doyle Simons, president and CEO of Weyerhaeuser Co. (NYSE: WY), announced his intention to retire. He will be succeeded by Devin Stockfish on Jan. 1, 2019. Stockfish has been senior vice president, timberlands, since Jan. 1, 2018. Previously, Stockfish served as the company’s senior vice president, general counsel, and corporate secretary, and as vice president, western timberlands. Simons will step down from the board on Jan. 1, 2019 and will serve as a senior advisor until his retirement on April 1, 2019.
