Capstead Mortgage Corp. (NYSE: CMO) announced that Andy Jacobs has resigned as president and CEO of the company. He had been with the company for 28 years. Phillip Reinsch, who had served as the company’s executive vice president and CFO, was named as the new president and CEO.
Corrections Corporation of America (NYSE: CXW) said Scott Irwin will succeed Steve Groom as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary. Groom will remain with the company for a two-year period to facilitate an orderly transition and to assist with other projects.
Duke Realty Corp. (NYSE: DRE) promoted Ryan O’Leary to regional senior vice president for Duke Realty’s operations in three markets, including Chicago, St. Louis and Minneapolis-St. Paul. Susan Bergdoll was promoted to vice president for leasing and development in Duke Realty’s Chicago office.
Federal Realty Investment Trust (NYSE: FRT) appointed Dan Guglielmone to the position of executive vice president, CFO and treasurer. Guglielmone previously served as senior vice president for acquisitions and capital markets at Vornado Realty Trust (NYSE: VNO).
First Industrial Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: FR) announced that Peter Baccile has been named president and will serve as a member of its board of directors, effective Sept. 29. Baccile joins First Industrial from UBS Securities, LLC, where he served as joint global head of the real estate, lodging and leisure group within the firm’s investment banking division since June 2012.

Roderick Day is stepping down as executive vice president and CFO of Iron Mountain Inc. (NYSE: IRM). Day will remain with the company for transition purposes through mid-October, or if extended, through mid-November.
Public Storage (NYSE: PSA) appointed Joseph Russell, Jr., as president. Russell has served as CEO of PS Business Parks (NYSE: PSB) since 2003. In addition, PS Business Parks promoted the company’s president, Maria Hawthorne, to CEO. Hawthorne has been with PS Business Parks for more than 30 years.
QTS Realty Trust (NYSE: QTS) announced that David McOmber formerly with IBM, has joined the company as executive vice president – public sector and federal sales.
Spirit Realty Capital Inc. (NYSE: SRC) appointed Jackson Hsieh as president and COO, effective September 7. Hsieh joins the company from Morgan Stanley, where he has served as managing director and vice chairman of investment banking, primarily focusing on the firm’s real estate clients.
Thomas Morey resigned as senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary of Washington REIT (NYSE: WRE).
