The fifth-annual REIT IR Symposium took place on Monday, June 7. More than 125 REIT investor relations professionals—representing 95 REITs—attended the virtual event.
During the first session, “The Grand Re-Opening: What Will Work Look Like Post-COVID?” panelists discussed the metrics and milestones the investment community is prioritizing as it looks ahead and shared insights into what REIT management teams will be expected to address at Nareit’s REITweek: 2021 Investor Conference, which kicks off tomorrow.
During the second session, “Moving Up the Corporate Ladder: The Transition from IRO to the C-Suite,” panelists discussed what a successful investor relations program looks like, how an IR team can play an integral role in ESG efforts, and provided advice for professionals hoping to advance to the C-suite.
