SEC & FASB Leadership Issues Focus of REITwise Panel

Julie Swinehart, executive vice president, CFO, and treasurer at Retail Properties of America, Inc. (NYSE: RPAI), participated in a video interview in conjunction with REITwise 2021: Nareit’s Law, Accounting & Finance Conference.

Swinehart will be joining a REITwise panel entitled “What’s on the Minds of SEC & FASB Leadership.”

Swinehart reviewed some of the topics the panel will discuss, including changes at the helm of both the Federal Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and within the Office of the Chief Accountant at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in the last year.

Swinehart added that the panel will review some of the projects on FASB’s agenda that will be of most interest to Nareit members.
