REITs Shaping Communities

Sen. Todd Young (R-IN) visited with representatives of three Indiana based REITs at the headquarters of Simon Property Group in Indianapolis.

Rep. Richard Neal (D-MA) spoke to a group of executives at a New England Council event in Boston that was sponsored by American Tower and Iron Mountain.

The grant was supported by donations to the Nareit Foundation, a section 501(c)(3) charity.

Elected officials, community leaders, and military veterans gathered on Veterans Day to welcome Hale Nā Koa ‘O Hanakahi, the start of a new affordable rental housing development in Hilo, Hawaii.

Three Molokai families will see the quality of their living conditions improve dramatically due to a $75,000 grant awarded by the Nareit Hawaii Community Giving Initiative.

The grant will provide tablets and Chromebooks to 150 families free of charge for a one-year period, along with free broadband access.

The donation to the nonprofit will help expand its vaccination program on Oahu.

The funds will go toward supporting the construction of six new, affordable, single-family homes in the Waimanalo and Papakolea communities on Oahu.

The grant goes toward the purchase of a one-acre lot and construction of an affordable home for a family displaced by the 2018 Kilauea volcano eruption.

The masks were donated to the 3,500 members of the Hawaii chapter of Operating Engineers.

Rep. Kelly Armstrong (R-ND) visited the offices of IRET in Minot, ND to learn about the company's investments in the state.
