JumpStart Workshop
Learn how to get your ESG program off the ground with step-by-step instructions at the JumpStart Workshop.
Who should attend? All Nareit corporate members with an interest in sustainability are encouraged to attend. A successful ESG program is truly an interdepartmental effort—and whether you work in communications or investor relations, you’ll learn invaluable information at this workshop.
What will I learn? You’ll gain the core skills you need to effectively launch—or improve—an ESG program of any size. Whether your organization is struggling to take its program to the next level--or you’re just figuring out where to start—the JumpStart Workshop will guide you through the steps needed to implement a successful ESG program.
Why should I attend the JumpStart Workshop? Creating a successful ESG program is a challenging—but extremely important—endeavor. Seventy percent of respondents in a 2018 U.S. Nareit Member Survey saw an increase in ESG reporting requests from investors between 2016 and 2017. It’s more necessary than ever to report on your ESG efforts effectively, efficiently, and clearly. Register for the JumpStart Workshop and the ESG Forum today.
Sustainability Leadership Workshop
Led by experts at Sustainable Brands®, this pre-forum workshop can help take your ESG program to the next level. Sustainable Brands has worked with some of the world’s most respected thought leaders and sophisticated sustainability practitioners to diagnose the most common reasons for a plateau in progress and map out courses of action that can remedy the situation.
Who should attend? If you feel as though your ESG program has hit a wall—or you’re looking for inspiration to level-up your initiatives—this is the perfect workshop for you.
What will I learn? During a presentation, group exercise, and Q&A, you’ll learn:
- How to recognize widespread misperceptions about what it means to become a sustainable company, and how to overcome them;
- How to get unstuck and take the sustainability credentials of your company to the next level – even if you have already achieved a high level of sustainability performance;
- How to level up your own career by building the skills and resources it takes for a company to become truly sustainable (hint: no one is there yet);
- How to cultivate breakthrough leaders that seek positive systemic change and foster collaboration toward a sustainable economy on any level of an organization.
Why should I attend the Sustainability Leadership Workshop? You’ll have the chance to reflect on where you and where you’d like your sustainability program to go. Learn tried-and-true methods to ensure your ESG program reaches its highest potential. Register for the Sustainability Leadership Workshop and the ESG Forum today.
